"Inchmarin 14 Year 2004-2019 Y's Cask Selected by Kazunori Shizutani"

One of the main brands developed by Loch Lomond Distillery, Inchmarin is a very fruity single malt series that uses only raw liquor distilled in a special Lomond still with a multi-layered sieve tray inside. This bottle is a barrel carefully selected by CEO Shizutani from among many samples on site.

The raw liquor distilled on May 11, 2004 was aged for 14 years in American oak vats that were recharred at the company's barrel factory, and is limited to 568 bottles.

The label is in the style of the Lemon Heart manga series, and features a special illustration by Mitsutoshi Furuya, the author of the manga "BAR Lemon Heart", depicting the master and barman Shizutani of BAR Lemon Heart drinking whiskey at the counter of the first store, BAR LIVET.

Aroma: Refreshing grassland, lemongrass, grapefruit, sultana raisins, green papaya, pelican mango, white cacao, honey, coriander seeds hidden in the depths. Flavor: A powerful touch with a slightly chewy texture, orange curacao, hot cake powder, white peach and papaya emerge over time. With a small amount of water, the latent flavors of barley, yuzu jam and sour cream peek out.

Past product lineup

This is one of the private bottle series commemorating the 10th anniversary of BAR LIVET.

A barrel of the 2019 distillation carefully selected by CEO Shizuya was fully matured in a red Carignan wine barrel procured from Vitkin Winery, an excellent winery in Israel, and then aged in the Dead Sea.

The alcohol content of the 2019 distillation was increased by 5% from the cask entry level to 68.5% through aging, and the bottling was done as is in a single cask, cask strength, a world first that M&H has never released before, making this an extremely special commemorative bottle.
